Grinding in Champagne: a crucial step.

The broyage (the shredding of the vine wood) is an important stage in the vine life cycle.

Depending on the size of the cut wood are arranged in rows.

These rows of wood are then finely shredded. This allows the quick decomposition of the wood.

Thus, about 30% of the organic soil demand of the vine are covered by this shredded wood.

We offer you a short video showing this stage of work in our vineyards.
